When a photograph is taken on a DSLR, the shutter is released and at that instant the photo is captured, the scene is blocked from the eye of the photographer.  

 

I have missed seeing many moments, but at the same time have eternalized them for myself and others to enjoy.

 

In 1996 I found an old film camera in the trash at my grandparents home and immediately took it apart to see how it worked.  Since, I have been facinated with photography.  To me, Photography is a portal in time and a way to capture the beauty and majesty around us.
